Victor Waid continues a frantic pace of arbitration awards against consumers from January 1, 2009, to March 31, 2009. More than $3.7 million in "Arbitration Awards" were awarded to banks by Mr. Waid in Q1 2009.
Is This Arbitration, or is this Wrongful Arbitration?
During January February, and March of 2009, Mr. Waid signed off on 330 'hearings' for the National Arbitration Forum. Chase Bank, and Bank of America or their proxies (stand-ins) accounted for the lion's share of these 'hearings'.
183 Chase Bank claims crossed Mr. Waid's gavel, and
115 claims from Bank of America or it's assignees/proxies were stamped "ARBITRATION AWARD".
A lucky two consumers managed Awards from Mr. Waid.
During this three-month period, Mr. Waid's 'AWARD' stamp
came down to NINE DAYS. On six of those days, 49-50 "Awards" were signed off PER DAY. On each of those six days, the businesses using the National Arbitration Forum's claimed 'neutral' services got a cool half million dollars ($500,000 plus or minus) in "Arbitration Awards".

California State Senator Ellen Corbett is one of the well-known alumni from Pacific McGeorge. She was also the champion behind the consumer legislation known as the 'Corbett Bill'. This California law (CCP 1281.96) is the only one of it's kind in the nation, and mandates public reporting of arbitration results made by arbitration service providers in consumer-related arbitrations.
IT'S THESE VERY REPORTS MADE BY THE NATIONAL ARBITRATION FORUM THAT CROWN MR. WAID KING OF THE (S)HILL ARBITRATOR FOR Q1 2009!
Mr. Waid's profile on the California Bar website goes on to say he became a member of the bar in 1971. By my math, Mr. Waid is a senior citizen of 62ish years, and has got to be using hair color, or wearing a hairpeace. Jeepers. That picture of him in his resume - what is his secret to the fountain of youth?
Busy Busy Mr. Waid
On those six days where Mr. Waid signed-off on 49-50 "Arbitration Awards" per day, the senior Mr. Waid must have really had his caffeine! Look at the workload: 50 arbitrations divided by an 8 hour day = 6-7 an hour. This is something like 10 minutes an "Arbitration Award". It looks like nobody showed up, and all he had to do was rubber-stamp stuff... I bet if I was in a hurry, I could rubber-stamp 50 files a day, in maybe like, an hour or two!
