The National Arbitration Forum

If you are in financial problems and MBNA Card Services or FIA Card Services have:

  • Engaged the National Arbitration Forum to hold an Arbitration 'hearing',
  • Engaged the National Arbitration Forum to issue an Arbitration Award,
it is highly likely they sided with MBNA or FIA.

    According to scholarly research:
  • The National Arbitration Forum award went to the Credit Card company 99.6% of total. This finding was based on a review of nearly 20,000 cases
  • The National Arbitration Forum is 'corporate sponsored'. In other words, MBNA or FIA Card Services make the $250 payment per arbitration case. The neutrality of the National Arbitration Forum is therefore questionable.

Even the U.S. Congress' Hearing on Mandatory Binding Arbitration Agreements: Are They Fair to Consumers (July 12, 2007) calls the National Arbitration Forum "a notoriously lenderfriendly organization who openly advertises its services being favorable to and more profitable for lenders and debt collectors than other arbitration companies..."
